Colebrook is a town in Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 1,471 at the 2000 census. Colebrook was named after Colebrooke, in the English county of Devon. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 32.9 square miles (85km2), of which 31.5 square miles (82km2) is land and 1.5 square miles (3.9km2) (4.40%) is water. The Algonquin State Forest is located within the town.
